All burials in the City Limits must have a permit. Generally, the funeral home takes care of this detail.

There is a City Ordinance against persons being on the grounds of any cemetery between sunset and sunrise. Any person so doing shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. It is also a misdemeanor to dig any type of hole on the cemetery grounds. This includes planting trees, shrubs or flowers. For persons who wish to do so, they must first obtain a permit at City Hall.
